The Inter-Disciplinary Extension Lecture Series is a part of the Faculty Development programme of Women's Christian College. The lecture series is held with a view to apprise the faculty members of various disciplines of this college regarding the new, informative and interesting lines of research pursued by their fellow academic staff members. The programme also looks forward to thought-provoking inter-active sessions at the end of each lecture. The students are encouraged to participate in the inter-active sessions. The goal of the lecture series is to initiate and imbibe iideas beyond the set borders. With a humble beginning in the year 2004 the lecture series has made a steady progress and has become a part of the regular academic activities of the college.
