Welcome to the Department of Bengali

'Bengali Department' is the oldest department in the college. It was established in the year 1945. From the very beginning the examination results of the department are very satisfactory.

From the old days affection and honour formed the basis of student-teacher relationship. Teachers are trying their level best to bridge the old values with the new thoughts of present day with a view to build up their students as a 'Total Woman'. The members of the department, apart from academic accomplishments, also participate in charity and social services. In order to help the blind people, they have co-operated with Blind Person's Association (Regd No. S/20088 ) and collected Rs 4526.50/- under the kind guidance of their Professors this year.
