Guidance and Counselling Cell

This Cell holds various programmes for welfare of the students of the college . Recently Dr. J. R. Ram, Consulting Psychiatrist, attached to Appollo Gleanagles, spoke about problems faced by girl students and the need for specialized counselling. A free eye screening camp was held by Rotary Narayan Netralaya and both students and teachers were benefited. In another such programme organized by an NGO, a noted physician spoke about HIV prevention.

Placement Assistance Cell

The program was conducted by Prof. Arnab Mazumdar , Dr. Jayita Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Bishwambhar Roy of the college along with a number of IT companies and other service sector units for organizing campus recruitment. The cell also takes the initiative of organizing awareness programmes to keep the students abreast of various professional courses which they can opt for to gain a competitive edge in the job market. Through campus recruitment programmes, students have found placement in reputed organizations like Wipro etc.

• Book Bank facility to the needy students.
• Insurance Covering accident for the students.

For non- teaching and teaching staff

• Staff Welfare fund for the non teaching employee.
• Group Insurance Policy.
• Interest free loan facilities from the Provident Fund Account for both teaching and non- teaching staff. (Processing is done speedily)
